Project AJAX is a personal, local-first knowledge and intelligence project.

Google Drive access

Where Google Drive is connected, Project AJAX requests read-only access so authorised files can be copied to the user's local environment for private knowledge retrieval. The integration is not intended to create, edit or delete files in Google Drive.

Data use

Google Drive data accessed by the integration is used to provide the user's private knowledge-assistant functionality. The public Project AJAX website does not provide access to that private content.

Data sharing

Project AJAX does not sell Google user data. The personal Project AJAX implementation is designed for the owner's own use rather than as a public multi-user service.

Local processing

The current assistant architecture is local-first. Private source material, indexes and AI processing are intended to remain within the authorised user's local environment, subject to any source-system synchronisation the user configures.

Revoking access

The user can revoke Project AJAX's Google account access through their Google Account security settings. Local copies or indexes can be removed separately from the user's own device.
